Suurman Assembly

Suurman Assembly has finally got a pastor. Pastor Makhubu and his wife were installed as pastors of th Suurman Assembly at Hammanskraal on the 14.112010. Three assemblies from Soshanguve and Ramotse witnessed this occassion.

I thank God for opening the doors in England. Pastors Jack Baloyi, Klaas Molekwa and I were invited to attend the Sozo House of Praise Conference in England per the Bishop's invitation. We left our homes on Monday the 6th September 2010 and landed
on the 7th September 2010. The conference will start on the 9th - 11th September 2010. Pastor Jack Baloyi is scheduled to preach on Sunday the 11th September 2010 and I will be preaching on Saturday the 10th September 2010.

As we are about to enter 2010.I would like to give you this thought that will take you beyond 2010.

Go with me to HEBREW: 9 verse 23-25.

(23)That is why the sacred tent down here on earth, and everything in it - all copied from things in heaven -all had to be made pure by Moses in this way, by being sprinkled with the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven,of which these down here are copies, were made pure with far more precious offerings.(24)For Christ has entered into heaven itself, to appear now before GOD as our Friend. It was not in the earthly place of worship that He did this, for that was merely a copy of real
temple in heaven.(25) Nor has He offered himself again and again, as the high priest down here on earth offers animal blood in the Holy of Hollies each year.

And the priest who were carrying the Ark stood on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan and waited as all the people passed by.They were able to cross the flooded river because GOD provided.

All the UAFC assemblies around Tshwane came together for a United Sunday that was held at the Pretoria Show Ground on the 15.11.2009 at 9h00.Tshwane District,Elcap and three assemblies from Eersterust came together for a fellowship. We were really blessed and people are looking forward to the next meeting next year.
All the UAFC pastors have decided to form a forum that will meet on a regular basis.The first meeting will take place on the 20.02.2010 at the Headquarters.
Pastor Johan Du Preez was a speaker of the day and he blessed us with the following preaching.

I will say this: because these experience I had were so tremendous, GOD was afraid I
might be puffed up by them;so I was given a physical condition which had been a thorn
in my flesh,a messenger from satan to hurt and bother me, and pricked my pride.

Three different times I begged GOD to make me well again.

Each time He said, "No. But I am with you; that is all you need.My power shows up best in weak people."Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am;I am glad to be a living demonstration of GOD's power,instead of showing off my own power and abilities.

All things work together for the believers,no matter how difficult the conditions are in your life.

MAN'S LIMITED RESOURCES

Sripture: Genesis 21: 14. A little bread and some water(KJV).

In the country south of Beersheba's fountains were almost unknown and wells were rare.Only those who knew the country well could find the wells.The policy of wandering tribe was to conceal their watering places for strangers.Abrahama knew that Hagar's own people were not far distant so she could find refuge. She knew the desert but got lost through sorrow.Hagar survived through limited resources because God was with her. God heard the voice of the lad out of heaven and He provided. Amen.

Scripture: 1Kings 17: 12. A hand full of flour and a jug of oil. (KJV).

The prophecy was fulfilled: For the Lord of Israel says that there will always be plenty of flour and oil left in the containers until the time when the Lord sends rain, and the crops grow again. Faith enabled her to act according to the word of the prophet,and by faith she continued to have a supply throughout the famine and after it was over, the meal gave out and oil faild. Those who welcome you are welcoming me,And when they welcome me, they are welcoming God who send me. I f you welcome a prophet because he is a men of God, you will be given the same reward a prophet gets. A nd if you welcome good and godly men because of their godliness, you will be given a reward like theirs( Mathew 10: 40 & 41 ).

Scripture: 2King 4 : 2. A pot of oil (KJV).

The oil kept on flowing as long as there were some pots.The oil stopped flowing when there aren't any more pots.She was told to go and sell some of the oil to repay her debt. God is very much concerned about your debt. He does not want you to become a slave to your creditors. Pay all your debts except the debt of love for others,never finish paying that (Roman 13 :8).

GOD CONDESCENDS TO MEET THE LIMITED RESOURCES AND CONDITIONS OF MEN.

1. Small offering accepted from the poor ( Lev 14 : 21 & 22).
2. Two small coins from the widow ( Mark 12 : 42 - 44).
3. Cup of cold water not despised ( Mathew 10 : 42 ).
4. Faith, even as a grain of mustart seed ( Mathew 17 : 20 ).
5. Two or three assembled in my name have the promise of the devine presence (Mathew 18 : 20 ).
Christian who have little tend to believe that God will not meet their limited resources and their conditions.People who are having less are blessed too. God does not look at the quantity, But at the heart.

I confess that the WORD of GOD is the truth. So if the Son sets you free , you will be free indeed.

Every arrows of satan falls for my sake, and every bondage of the devil is cancelled in the name of Jesus Christ. The generational curse is broken in the name of Jesus Christ.

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law and I am free from the power of the evil one. My freedom is guaranteed in Jesus Christ.

Thank the LORD for setting you free from the tendency of the desperate spirit.

Thank the LORD in advance for setting you free from the bondage of uncontrollable.

Repent and ask the Holy Spirit to cleanse your heart from every kind of lewdness.

Destroy any impending trouble even before it arises in the name of Jesus Christ.

Take authority over every lie of satan perpetrated against you and declare that they shall have no effect in the name of Jesus Christ.

Take authority over every ancestral spirit working against your family in the name of Jesus Chrsit. AMEN.

Confess in the midst of all your set back that you will still sing of the LORD's deliverance and that according to the WORD of GOD you will posess your blessing.

Break the power of the enemy which may come on your business and money.

Cover your children with the blood of Jesus Christ and declare them safe.

Take the Word of GOD as your armour because JEHOVAH is your refuge and He is above all gods. AMEN.

It means that during this time of our lives no weapon turned against us shall succeed,and the children of GOD will have justice against every courtroom lie. This is the heritage of of the servants of the LORD. This is a blessing I have given you,Says the LORD.

Christians can destroy every impending trouble even before it arises in the name of JESUS CHRIST. I have to say Amen to this.

You can take authority over every lie of Satan perpetrated against you and declare that they shall have no effect in the name of the JESUS CHRIST.

The Corinthians believers wanted God to bless them while refusing to separate themself from the evil ways of the world.

The pastors and leaders of the Corinthian church were allowing professed convetrs to come into the congregation without forsaking many of their evil practices. They were tolarating within their fellowship selfish divisions, jelousy and strife. One would say, I am of Paul, and onther , I am of Apollos. It is like that in most of the churches today. Christians forget that we do have different gifts . He that planteth and he watereth are one. He that preaches and he that teaches are one. God is the one who giveth the increase, He is the one who maketh the seed to grow.

In the ministry we are fellow workers with God and God is the one who give the increase.

There is great authority when two people agree in prayer. Anything that they shall ask,it shall be done for them. Our heavenly Father will do it for them. I praise God for this authority to us
so that His name may be glorified.

Children of God do not know the authority that they have in Jesus Christ. There must be a fellowship among christians as the Word says where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them. This are the words of Jesus Christ himself telling about His present among us. May God Bless you.

Acts 16:16-30
(Good News Bible)

One day as we were going to the Place of prayer, we were met by a young servant-woman who had an evil spirit that enabled her to predict the future. She earned a lot of money for her owners by telling fortunes.

17 She followed Paul and us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God! They announce to you how you can be saved!”

18 She did for many days, until Paul became so upset that he turned round and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I order you to come out of her!” The spirit went out of her that very moment.

19 When her owners realized that their chance of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them to the authorities in the public square.

20 They brought them before the Roman officials and said, “These men are Jews, and they are causing trouble in our city.

21 They are teaching customs that are against our law; we are Roma citizens, and we can not accept these customs or practise them.”

22 And the crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas.

Then the officials tore the clothes off Paul and Silas and ordered them to be whipped.

23 After a severe beating, they were thrown into jail, and the jailer was ordered to lock them up tight.

24 Upon receiving this order, the jailer threw them into the inner cell and fastened their feet between heavy blocks of wood.

25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

26 Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, which shook the prison to its foundations. At once all the doors opened, and the chains fell off all the prisoners.

27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he thought the prisoners had escaped; so he pulled out his sword and was about to kill himself.

28 But Paul shouted at the top of his voice, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

29 The jailer called for a light, rushed in, and fell trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.

30 Then he led them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Summary

After so much pain in your life, God is about to do something good for you. God has heard your prayers; God has listened to your complaint and is bout to respond positively.

God is about to remove the stumbling blocks that are blocking your way. You just need to hold on unto Him. If somebody is standing in your way, God will remove him. Don’t be frustrated. Give everything to Him and He shall carry your burdens for you.

This battle is not yours; this battle is for God. Cast your burdens unto Him.

Don’t turn to sin because you want to achieve something. Do not bribe because you need a job. Trust in Him and He will intervene in your life.

People can say this and that about you, but God knows your situation.

TSHWANE DISTRICT MINISTER’S MEETING REALISED

At last, the meeting for the District of Tshwane under Pastor Mabunda had been realized. This meeting was initially arranged to be held on the 23 May 2009, but it was postponed for the 30th May 2009 because on the 23 May we were to launch a “Kids for Christ Bible Club” at Westside Christian Fellowship Assembly.

On the 30th May 2009, the meeting was postponed once again to the 13th May 2009. One of the pastors at block GG Assembly, Pastor Maila passed away.

The 6th of June was a National Minister’s meeting for the Districts.

Today, 13 June 2009, the Tshwane District meeting had been successful. Thank God. Everything was in His plans.

A PHOTO COPYING MACHINE DONATED TO OUR CHURCH FROM GESTETNER COMPANY

We thank God for the gift of a photocopying Machine donated to our church by the Gestetner Company. A proposal was written a month ago by Ps. Mabunda requesting for such a gift. Our church is busy with community projects and we needed the copy machine to run our work smoothly.

God heard our prayers, and today we have our own photocopying machine with a facsimile; a printer and a scanner in one.

Praise be to God. We want to ensure the company that we will put it into good use.

Jesus began His Ministry by quoting these verse, (Luke 4:18-19)

19 and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save his people.”

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit to;

Healing and binding up the spiritually and physically sick and broken hearted.

Breaking the bonds of evil and proclaiming freedom from sin and satanic dominion.

Opening the spiritually eyes of the lost that they might see the light of the gospel and be saved.

COVENANT

Abram prayed to God for an heir.

Abram had faith; prayer comes with faith.

Abram believed the promise God has made.

When we read the scripture we realize that, Abram approached God for guidance. When hope is gone; when you feel weary and hopeless, you need to approach God for guidance.

God gave Abram guidance for he approached Him. God made a covenant with Abram using 5 animals.

These animals represented the times of worship.

Abram did not understand the covenant.

That’s what happens to us. Sometimes we do not understand the covenant that God want to make with us.

The birds of prey represent the devil/enemy

In whatever we are doing we must be aware that the enemy will attack us; but we need to know that we are not alone.

A covenant was made in Calvary and nothing will stand our away. As long as we follow God’s instructions, God will always be with us.

The Kids For Christ Bible Ministry well known as the KFC Bible Ministry had been launched at Westside Christian Fellowship Assembly under Pastor Moses Mabunda. That was over the weekend (23 May 2009).

The children show-cased their talents ranging from music, modeling, dance and drama play. These KFC Bible Clubs will be held every Saturday between 09h00 and 12h00.

Our aim is to identify and develop the Kids talents. On Saturday we realized that our kids are talented and their talents need to be developed.

Everything went well and we thank God for that. We also thank God for such a great Ministry. We thank Pastor Ben Rodgers (www.benrodgers.blogspot.com) in Swaziland who came up with such a great Ministry which has reached beyond the boarders of Swaziland.

Our mothers were surprised when they came for the Sunday Service. Everything was set to honour them. Fathers and children had a big surprise for the mothers as they were treated as Queens.

Big round tables were set for them; cakes and soft drinks were set for them; music and poems were prepared for them for they are so special in our lives. Speaker after speaker sang praises to them. Fathers and children danced for them. It was a special day, a day to remember.

From Eve, Sarah and all the women up to Mary the mother of Jesus; women had something unique to offer in their ministry.

Last weekend; Men's Fellowship in Pivtures

WHAT WERE THESE MARRIED MEN DISCUSSING DURING A MEN’S FELLOWSHIP LAST SATURDAY

Amongst them were pastors, evangelists and elders of the church. What exactly were they talking about. Were they talking about church matters; Were they talking about church building fund, or planning for the next crusade? The answer is no.

They were talking about issues affecting families and the church in general. They were trying to get answers to certain issues that have destroyed many families for years. Two items were discussed.

FIRST ITEM RAISED:
· Let’s say you get married to a woman with children from your previous relationship; maybe you got those children before you were born again, or in your previous failed marriage. As a man, how do you avoid conflicts between me (as a man with children) and my wife (with no children from her side); conflicts that might be caused by my children I have brought into this marriage.

Believe me, Pastors had a solution to this problem. You had to be there to get answers to your problems.

SECOND ITEM RAISED:
· Let’s say you were married (as a man), and because of adultery committed by your wife; you then decided to divorce her and, get married to another woman in church. What then is your position in church. Let’s say you were an elder or deacon or any position you were given in church. What then is your position after all that?

Amazingly, pastors had answers for such a problem.

In the following list of the Bible prayer, I give only actual prayers that are worded not references to prayers. (ie): all statements as he prayed
He intreated the Lord
He called upon the name of the lord
And such like are not prayers, they merely mention that certain person prayed.

GENESIS: There are six prayers in this book.

Abraham prayed for an heir. (40 words) 15:2-3
15:2 But Abram answered, “Sovereign Lord, what good will your reward do to me, since I have no children? My only heir is Eliezer of Damascus.
15:3 “You have given me no children and one of my slaves will inherit my property.”
GRANTED: God had promised. (21:1-8)
21:1 The Lord blessed Sarah, as he had promised,
21:2 and she became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham when he was old. The boy was born at the time God had said he would be born.
21:3 Abraham named him Isaac,
21:4 and when Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded.
21:5 Abraham was a hundred and years old when Isaac was born.
21:6 Sarah said, “god has brought me joy and laughter. Everyone who hears about it will laugh with me.”
21:7 Then she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”
21:8 The child grew, and on the day that he was weaned, Abraham gave a great feast.

The promise is found in chapter 15:4
15:4 Then he heard the Lord speaking to him again: “This slave Eliezer will not inherit your property; your own son will be your heir.”

Abraham prayed for Ishmael to be his heir. (7 words) 17:18.
17:18 He asked God, “Why not let Ishmael be my heir?”
NOT GRANTED because that was not the will of God. (15:4)
15:4 Then he heard the Lord speaking to him again: “This slave Eliezer will not inherit your property; your own son will be your heir

Abraham prayed for Sodom to be spared if 10 people were righteous.

18:23 Abraham approached the Lord and asked, “Are you really going to destroy the innocent with the guilty?
18:24 “If there are fifty innocent people in the city, will you destroy the whole city? Won’t you spare it in order to save the fifty?
18:25 “Surely you won’t kill the innocent with the guilt. That’s impossible! You can’t do that. If you did, the innocent would be punished along with the guilty. That is impossible. The judge of all the earth has to act justly.”
18:26 The Lord answered, “If I find fifty innocent people in Sodom, I will spare the whole city for their sake.”
18:27 Abraham spoke again: “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to peak to you, Lord. I am only a man and have no right to say anything.

NOT GRANTED Ten righteous people were not found. (19:24)
19:24 Suddenly the Lord rained burning sulphur on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

GRANTED: It was according to God’s word. (21:12,17:7)
21:12 But God said to Abraham, “Don’t be worried about the boy and your slave Hagar. Do whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that you will have the descendants I have promised.
17:7 “I will keep my promise to you and to your descendants in future generations as an everlasting covenant. I will be your God and the God of your descendants.

Jacob prayed for a blessing (28:20-22)
28:20 Then Jacob made a vow to the Lord: “If you will be with me and protect me on the journey I am making and give me food and clothing,

28:21 “and if I return safely to my father’s home, then you will be my God.
28:22 “This memorial stone which I have set up will be the place where you are worshipped, and I give you a tenth of everything you give me.”
GRANTED: Because of God’s plan for him.

Jacob prayed for deliverance from Esau. (130 words) 32:9-12

A Remarkable Testimony

You deserve the Honour Oh Lord!

She has just completed her metric a year ago. Mpho was raised by her single mom and she had all the reasons to thank her mom for her successes. It was tears as she gave a testimony in front of the congregation, and thanking her mom who sacrificed everything for her to climb the ladder of success.

She has successfully completed her course (flight attendant) and she is going for an interview soon.

“I thank God for my achievements.” She said. “I thank my mother for being there for me even if she had nothing. She would take even her last money and invested in me.” She said emotionally and calling her mom to join her on stage.

“Thank you mama. Thank you.” It was so emotionally as her mom wiped her daughter’s tears.

“I went for this with no additional substance, but with God. As I posed, I knew God is on my side.”

Mpho did not only passed her course, but all she got top marks in her driving license lessons.

Go girl. You have all the blessings from the pastor, the church and from your parents. We love you. Always trust in God.

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR A CHURCH

People are called to serve

First; make a commitment to your local church; Regular attendance should be the rule, not the exception. Does your church have the recognized membership? Then follow the procedures to join it. Also observe the Lord’s super regularly. Let the elders know that you want to become an active part of the local Body of Christ, and submit to their authority.

Second; learn to speak well of your local church. Even though it has its faults, do not allow yourself to develop a critical spirit, (1 Cor 1:10). Since your local church is your family in Christ, defend it when others grumble about it. Remind them that they should take the matter to the Elders, and not going around gossiping. It is important that parents, and especially fathers and mothers learn to speak well of “our” church. Let the children hear you talk about “our” pastor, “our” elder, “our” deacons, “our” deaconess, “our” Sunday School, “our” services.

Third; seek to minister within your local church. Ask what you can contribute to the body of Christ through your involvement with the local church. Remember, to each one the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit all, (1Cor 12:7). Don’t go to church only to see if it will meet your needs. That is the way of the world: “if my wife does not meet my needs, I’ll leave her.” Instead, the attitude that characterize us Christians is love and love that gives.

Fourth; give your finances to support your local church. The scripture clearly emphasize the importance of regular giving. In 2 Corinthians the Apostle Paul also explains that we should give proportionately (8:12); abundantly (9:6); purposefully and cheerfully (9:7).

Fifth; meet the spiritual and physical needs of your brothers and sister in Christ. What ever we do for the least of God’s family, we actually do for Him (Math 25:40). Don’t wait until someone ask you to help, just do it. Take initiative to visit the sick and elderly. Take food to those who are facing financial difficulties.

Finally; I challenge you to reevaluate the importance of the local church in your own life. God’s desire is for his people to commune with each other in the local Body. Do you? Now is the good time to begin getting your roots deep into local church.

I pray that God may give you the deep understanding about your local church as your spiritual home.

Serve with Love

Good evening. Today I want to share with you a story about two missionaries from USA to South Africa. The first Missionary came to South Africa and was placed in the rural area. He was loving and kind. He could sacrifice anything for the sake of the people.

People loved him. People supported him. He will find solution to any problem, because he worked with the people; He listened to their complaints.

The time came for him to leave South Africa.

The second one came. He was not so kind. He did not work with the people. He will decide and tell people to do whatever he has decided. People could not support him.

Seeing that people were not supportive; he called a meeting and he decided to preach to them about the love of Jesus Christ.

When he finished, they said to him. “We know who Jesus is. We have worked with him. He was loving and kind”

This bothers the Missionary and he wanted to know who was that Jesus they were talking about. He discovered that it was the first Missionary.

This was a challenge to him. It is also a challenge to us who had been called to serve the people. We need to serve whole heartedly; with love for we are God’s ambassadors. We represent Christ.

People see God in us and God will bless you.

Pray that the spread of “swine flu” could stop, and the complete healing to the infected.
Pray for the Men and Women’s fellowship on Saturday.

5 Elijah obeyed the Lord’s command, and went and stayed by the brook of Cherith.

6 He drank water from the brook, and ravens brought him bread and meat every morning and every evening.

7 After a while the brook dried up because of the lack of rain.

8 Then the Lord said to Elijah,

9 “Now go to the town of Zarephath, near Sidon, and stay there. I have commanded a widow who lives there to feed you.”

10 So Elijah went to Zarephath, and as he came to the gate of the town, he saw a widow gathering firewood. “Please bring me a drink of water, “ he said to her.

11 And as she was going to get it, he called out, “And please bring me some bread, too.”

12 She answered, “By the living Lord your God I swear that I haven’t got any bread. All I have is a handful of flour in a bowl and a drop of olive-oil in a jar. I came here to gather some fire wood to take back home and prepare what little I have for my son and me. That will be our last meal, and then we will starve to death.”

13 “Don’t worry,” Elijah said to her. “Go ahead and prepare your meal. But first make a small loaf from what you have and bring it to me, and then prepare the rest for you and your son.

14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The bowl will not run out of flour or the jar run out of oil before the day that I, the Lord, send rain.’”

15 The widow went and did as Elijah had told her, and all of them had enough food for many days.

16 As the Lord had promised through Elijah, the bowl did not run out of flour nor did the jar run out of oil.

Summary

Elijah did according to the commands of God. He did not hesitate.

God took care of Elijah because he listened to Him.

God fed Elijah by directing the ravens. God also provided Elijah through a widow.

If God directs us; we need to go according to His word.

Elijah trusted in God and he knew he would take care of him.

Elijah believed in God.

By Elijah moving from the brook to the widow’s house; it shows how consistent he was in the things of God. He did not lift himself up to a better standard but went according to God’s command.

He did not fear a thing, for God was with him.

A converted Bible College to cater for kids in need

The KIDS FOR CHRIST MERCY CENTRE in Soshanguve Block H, is about to be launched. This programme will be launched under the United Apostolic Faith Church, and will be monitored by the Westside Christian Fellowship Assembly. Strings of community meetings are being organized in the area.

United Bible College to KFC Mercy Centre

On 09 May 2009, the community of Soshanguve had been invited to a KFC-Child Sponsorship program presentation which will begin at 09h00.

The primary schools had also been invited to identify needy kids within the area. This programme seeks to help children in need.

These children must be:
Orphans
Raised by struggling parents
Raised by grandparents
Raised by struggling single parents
Raised by guardians, etc.

The KIDS FOR CHRIST MERCY CENTRE will provide:
Food
Medical attention
Safe environment to play
Accommodation to the orphans
Pre-school education
The word of God so that they may experience the love of Jesus

Rising up in spite of:
· A threatening disease in you life
· Bad things said about you, all the negative staff.
· Poverty
· The bad SA economy
· Jobless
· Neglected by friends and family
· Hurt in your life

And Marching to do all these things you are afraid to do

Doing those things while you are afraid;
· While you are afraid of failure
· While you are afraid of being laughed
· While you are afraid of the unforeseen situations

Do it Afraid

Ezra 10 :1- 4

1 While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself down before the house of the Lord, a large crowd of Israelites-men, women and children-gathered around him. They too wept bitterly.

2 Then Shecaniah son of Jehiel, one of the descendants o Elam, said to Ezra, “We have been unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women from the peoples around. But in spite of this, there is still hope for Israel.

3 Now let us make a covenant before our God to send away all these women and their children, in accordance with the counsel of my lord and those who fear the commands of our God. Let it be done according to the Law.
4 “Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

· We fail to rise because of certain issues in our lives.
· We are controlled by fear.

Take courage, this issue is yours. Get into it while you are afraid and in the house of the Lord you will get support.

· Let no one stop you from achieving your dreams.
· May be you have started something and gave up on the way; it is time for you to stand up and do it regardless of any situation that is blocking you.

2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.

3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.

4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Summary

Here we see that, Paul defended the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul took a stand to show people that he was not the same Paul they knew.

Despite that he was in flesh, Paul stressed it that he did not walk according to the flesh.

Paul had a special fight.

It is important that, as His children we need to live by His word.

With God’s weapons, Paul was assured that he could defeat the devil’s strongholds.

Nothing could stand before Paul, because he did not have canal weapons, but God’s weapons.

John 18:36

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

THE KFC BIBLE CLUB LAUNCH

KFC Members

The Westside Christian Fellowship Assembly is getting ready for the launch of the “KFC Bible Club.”

The “KFC” is an abbreviation for KIDS FOR CHRIST. The launch is on the 23 May 2009 at our church at 313 Frederick Street, Pretoria West, Pretoria. The function will start at 09h00. All parents are invited to attend the function together with their children. It doesn’t matter where they fellowship. This KFC Club is meant for each and every child who is willing to be part of it.

The aim of this KFC Saturday Club is to fulfill the scripture in Proverbs 22: 6 that says; “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

The children will be taught the scripture, be involved in music, dance in accordance with the word of God. They will act the stories in the bible, taught to serve all will be done in accordance with the word of God. The children’s talents will be unleashed and they will be given a room to lead.

The Sunday School kids are now practicing and rehearsing for the big day; their day. This is the rough sketch of the programme for the 23 May 2009:

Acts 3: 1-10 (Holy Bible – New International Version)

1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer-at three in the afternoon.

2 Now a man crippled from birth was carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put everyday to beg from those going into the temple courts.

3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter , he asked them for money.

4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!”

5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”

7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.

8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping and praising God.

Summary

The Power of God

There are people (sometimes) who really need nothing else but to experience the power of God.

They need no gifts, but more than that.

In this case, this crippled man needed Jesus. He needed to experience Jesus presence, and that what Peter gave him.

That was the greatest gift he lacked in his whole life.

This can also apply to the church of today. There are many Christians who are crippled spiritually and physically.

They only need someone to strengthen them. They need someone to remind them about Jesus in their Christian lives. The inner man need to be strengthen.

It is important to see wonders and miracles in the house of God as His children. What happened to the crippled man must happen to the church in our generation.

We as Christians, we need to give the valuable gift to the spiritually and physically crippled people.

Note this: The crippled man INSTANTLY experienced the power of God. He INSTANTLY experienced the love of Jesus. He INSTANTLY became a witness to Jesus’ love. He became a testimony to the whole world that, Jesus is alive. INSTANTLY.

Summary of the pastor’s message

The Ship Wrecked Faith

1 Timothy 1: 19 & 20

19 …holding on to your faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith.

20 Among them are Hymeneus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to satan to be taught not to blaspheme.

Paul warned Timothy to take care and to look after his faith life.
He told him to hold on to his faith and to keep his conscious clear.
(These are two most important things in ones Christian life.)

Keep your conscious clear
Maybe you have done something wrong some ages ago. That thing can be a stumbling block in your Christian life. Because of that wrong doing, you are now losing faith. Your conscious is telling you that, what you did was wrong.

You need to obey your conscious, and God will bless you.
If you disobey your conscious, your life will be wrecked.
We need to come to the Lord so that our conscious could be cleared.

Some of you wrecked your lives because you disobeyed your conscious.
Do not depart from the presence of God until your conscious is clear.
Open your mouth and confess, so that you can keep your conscious clear.

God gave us power to confess. We need to break lose the power of the devil.

It will be a waste of time if we come before God without clearing our conscience.

You can not settle if your conscious is not clear. You will always be suspicious.

Come before God and He will clear your conscious, no matter what people say.

Go and practice by ;
Making it right with your enemies, boss, neighbours; and God will bless you.

If your faith is wrecked, you will turn to all sort of bad things.

Hold on to your faith
We need to hold on tight to our faith that was revealed to us through Jesus Christ.

Hold on to your faith in Him even if you are going through hardships.

What you are going through will come to pass.

Don’t be fooled about what is going on around.

Hold tight on His faith and God will bless you.

Whatever you have done, no matter how old you are. Come to Jesus

Do right

2 Timothy 2:16-19

16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

18 who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

Living water is the Holy Spirit.

This was one way of Jesus showing himself to His disciples.
If you drink of this water, you have pass from death to life.
If we go from this world, we will live again.

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I cant close my mouth about the Easter Convention held at Altelekker Camping site, just in the outskirts of Pretoria. The United Apostolic Faith Church (Tshwane and Gauteng Districts) gathered to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. “Turn To God and He shall Prosper You”, that was the theme of the convention.

We had almost ten speakers from our different branches; Pastor Monanyane was the first speaker; followed by Pastor Mazibuko; then Pastor Mokoena and the Easter Message came from Pastor Molekwa (Gauteng District Minister). The Programme Director was Pastor Moses Mabunda. This was the first day (10 April 2009).

Ephesians 2:8, 9, 10

Jesus’ coming; there is more into it. He did not only came to save us, but to be a manifest.

Jesus is in Heaven now, what then?

God wanted us to understand that Jesus came;

· So that we can be His duplicates.
· So that we can produce what Jesus did to us.
· So that Jesus can manifest in this age.
· So that we can move in the way that pleases God.

God recreated us for the good works.

Jesus came to save us, not to be saved so that we can be the manifest.
When you read the bible, you will agree that this word speaks about me.
I am the fulfillment of the bible.
When I wake up, I thank God that the ‘Man of God’ is awaken and something good must happen.
Jesus came so that He can be recreated in us.
We are what the word says we are.
We have, what the word says we have.
I can change situations. I don’t speak like a commoner.
I speak and confess the word.
We have the word of God in the ‘now’.
Every morning as you wake up say, “Lord, speak your servant is listening.”

Colossians 1:17

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Holy Bible, New International Version)

If you don’t know who you are, you will wonder.

You have power to create your own world.
You can’t be complaining if you are the Son of God.
Change situations.
Don’t allow people to discourage you.
Don’t welcome those who brings negative news to you.
God’s messengers always brings good news.
Jesus came to produce His own character in us.
So that the God-ness can be on us.

John 14:15 & 23

15 If you love me, you will obey what I command.

It was Easter Convention for the United Apostolic Faith Church. The Gauteng and Tshwane Districts gathered at Altelekker to worship the Lord. The theme of the Convention: Turn To Go and He shall Prosper You.

We had different speakers from the two districts. We will post the preaching of each speaker every week and will also distribute DVD copies at R50.00 each to those who will contact us.

Scripture Reading

1 John 5:2-12 (Holy Bible-New International Version)

2. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out His commands.

3. This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome,

4. for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

5. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only He who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

6. This is the one who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

7. For there are three that testify:

8. the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

9. We accept man’s testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which He has given about His Son.

10. Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Any one who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about His Son.

11. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

12. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Amen!

This is a thought for tonight.

We know that we love the children of God; and this means, if we love the children of God-we love God Himself.

It is our responsibility to love one another. If you love someone, you will make sure that you protect the person you love.

Who are we born of?

The bible says we are born of God. Who are those born of God? Are those who received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Jesus came to His own people, the Jews. Those who received Him received power to become the children of God.

We are born Spiritually. If you are born of God; you have overcame the world. The world has many things in it, but because we are born of God, we overcame it.

Who is he who overcame the world?

The one who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Not the one who is wealthy, intelligent, educated; but the one who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

By Jesus’ blood, we were cleansed of our sins. People can doubt us, but His blood has washed it all.

The Spirit that we have bear witness; the water and the blood are witnesses. They all agree in one thing that, Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

1 John 4:15

15. If anyone acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. (Holy Bible-New International Version).

If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, then you have life.

This means that you don’t need to give in to the enemy; you are a victorious man. You have Jesus, and you have life.

Walk victorious.

If you know who you are in God, you will not look down upon yourself.

This is a summary of the sermon

Doers of the word

The bible says, we must be the doers of the word, not only the hearers.

For example; If someone tells you he can play soccer, for you to believe him, he must prove it by playing; for you to believe someone who claims to be a musician, he/she must prove it to you by performing; and for someone to believe that one is an athlete, he/she must show that skill. In that way no one will argue against your talent.

If a person says he/she is a Christian, there must be a proof. That person must live a Christian life.

People who are doers of the word;

-Be obedient to God, for it is profitable to your blessings.

-To be blessed, you must be the doers of the word.

-Don’t do what men says, but do what the word says.

-It is not a matter of luck that you are blessed, but it is because you are doing what the word says.

We can feel up the church in numbers, but if we are not the doers of the word, it means we are playing; but we want to see wonders in the house of the Lord. Why? Because we are the doers of the word. We want to see our families being blessed; and that will come if we do His word.

The Choice you made

-If you have chosen Jesus Christ, you must be the doers of the word.

-We stand a chance of receiving His blessings if we are the doers of His word.

-If you are not doing according to His word, the word will judge you.

-If we do His word, we will also be a blessing to the world.

-If the word can’t change you or can’t change your situation, then you must examine yourself; you must repent.

Guidelines

-Read the word of God, so that your gift can manifest.

-Our standard is in the word of God. We measure ourselves by the word of God.

-The standard of God is higher than our standard. We can’t measure ourselves by what we have or own, but by His word.

Pray for someone who is in danger. Says the bible

-The devil can do nothing if we pray for one another.

-Sometimes we don’t see the works and tricks of the devil. We are not aware; But those who read the word can easily see the danger ahead.

-As Christians, the word must always burn within us.

- Read the word like the way you check yourselves in the mirror.

-Meditate upon the word of God.

-Worship God and you shall be blessed.

We don’t have to fake God’s blessings. We need to come Holy to God, so that He may be Glorified.

-Do the word so that you could be blessed.

-Present your bodies as your living sacrifice to God.

-Love your neighbours as you love yourselves.

-Forgive one another.
